The Luck of the Irish (Lucky Charms Chocolate Bark)

Growing up in an Italian and Irish home the Italian won out most of the time on the cuisine front. Except for once once a year when my father would go into the kitchen, dance an Irish Jig, and make magic in the kitchen. Wanting to continue the tradition, every year I strive for new and delicious recipes to celebrate the Irish in all of us!

Lucky Charms Chocolate Bark

Active Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Inactive Prep Time: 1 Hour
Servings: 8

Ingredients
1 Cup White Chocolate (or candy melts) – Coarsely chopped
2 oz Dark Chocolate (or candy melts) – Coarsely Chopped
Green Food Coloring
Lucky Charms Marshmallows, Sprinkles, Green M&Ms for decorating

Directions
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the white chocolate into a microwave safe bowl. Place it in the microwave and melt at 30 second increments until it is fully melted – usually no more than 60 seconds. Add the green food coloring to taste, stir, and set aside. Do the same with the dark chocolate except do not add food coloring. Stir it to confirm that the chocolate is completely smooth and melted.

Pour the melted dark chocolate on the parchment lined baking sheet. Use an offset spatula to spread it evenly into a rectangle. Drizzle the white chocolate on top and use a toothpick or a knife to swirl the layers together. Decorate with Lucky Charms Marshmallows, M&Ms and sprinkles. Place the chocolate in the freezer for at least 20 minutes and break into pieces and serve!
