Her recipes have been published in newspapers, magazines and the best-selling book Small Apartment Hacks (Ulysses, 2013). Alison longs for the days of Donna Reed and Jacqueline Kennedy when a woman dressed in gorgeous fashions, cooked like Julia Child, and still found time to go into the city for a cocktail or two.
