Here for the Nog (Eggnog Milkshake)

I know that Eggnog is not for everyone, but I have to say that for me pretty much nothing says holiday more than Eggnog. It smells and tastes like holiday goodness. This year I wanted to create a riff on a classic that feels festive and fabulous. This recipe will not disappoint.

Eggnog Milkshake

Servings: 2 Large Milkshakes 

Ingredients
4 Cups of Vanilla Ice Cream
1/2 Cup Eggnog
1 1/2 oz Spiced Rum
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 Cup Coarsely Crushed Ginger Snaps
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
3 Tbsp Sugar
Cinnamon 
Nutmeg

Directions

1. Pour the heavy whipping cream and sugar into the cold bowl of a mixer and mix on high until firm peaks form.

2. Set the whipped cream in the refrigerator until ready to use.

3. Meanwhile, place the ice cream, eggnog, spiced rum, vanilla, and ginger snap cookie crumbs into a blender and blend until smooth. 

4. Fill the cups with the milkshake mixture, and top with whipped cream.

5. Sprinkle with Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and cookie crumbs.

6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
