There are few things in life that go better than honey and cheese. So I thought why not combine them into a frosting that would taste delicious on pretty much anything?
Honey Goat Cheese Buttercream
Active Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Inactive Prep Time: 1 Hour
Servings: 3-4 Cups
Ingredients:
4 Cups Confectioners Sugar (sifted)
1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter (cool, but not cold)
1/2 Cup Goat Cheese
2 - 3 Tbsp Honey
1/4 tsp Cinnamon (optional)
3-5 Tbsp Water
Directions:
In the bowl of a mixer combine the butter and goat cheese. Stream in the honey and mix until incorporated. Add the confectioners sugar two cups at a time. Whip on high until the frosting is light and fluffy. If the frosting is stiff add water one tablespoon at a time until you get to the desired texture. Place the frosting in the refrigerator to firm up and frost away!
