Every year for the holidays I send out homemade holiday gifts. I find that they feel so personal and it is a fun challenge to come up with a theme for the season. This year I am obsessed with Matcha. So here is one of the many ways to make chocolate bark that really sings!
Matcha Chocolate Bark
Active: 15 Minutes
Inactive: 1 Hour
Ingredients
1 lb Dark Chocolate
1/2 lb White Chocolate
1 1/2 Tsp Matcha Tea
Freeze Dried Raspberries
Directions:
Line two baking sheets with parchment and set aside. Pour the dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and place in the microwave for 30 second increments stirring each time until completely melted. Do the same for the white chocolate. Then add the matcha powder and stir until entirely incorporated. Pour one cup of dark chocolate into each baking sheet. Use an off-set spatula to spread the chocolate out evenly. Place tablespoon dots all over the dark chocolate. Use a toothpick to swirl the matcha chocolate into the dark chocolate until it looks gorgeous. Sprinkle dehydrated raspberries and place in the refrigerator to set for at least an hour. Break into pieces and serve.
