Champs! (Champagne Buttercream Frosting)

Adding champagne to any celebration pushes it over the top. Adding it to a cake? Well that just makes it simply outrageous!


Champagne Buttercream Frosting





Ingredients
1/4 Cup Champagne (or sparkling wine)
1 Cup Unsalted Butter (room temp)
4 Cups Confectioners Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Servings: 4 Cups of Frosting

Directions:


1. Place the butter and a 1/4 cup of champagne in the bowl of a mixer and mix on low with a paddle attachment until the butter and champagne are fully incorporated.

2. Add 2 cups of confectioners sugar and mix on medium until incorporated. 

3. Add remaining 2 cups of confectioners sugar and mix on high until the frosting becomes light and fluffy. Adding sparkling wine as needed to get the desired texture.

4. Decorate and Serve!
