Zombie Prom (Chocolate Covered Zombie Pretzels)

My niece and nephew LOVE pretzels. Like LOOOOVE pretzels. If you are eating pretzels, they will swoop in like seagulls to get be sure to get a handful, or four. When I was thinking of some fun and spooky Halloween recipes I could make with them this year, I came up with these hilarious chocolate covered Zombie pretzels. They are no bake, easy, fun, a little spooky, and a lot hilarious.

Chocolate Covered Zombie Pretzels

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes
Servings: 24 Pretzels

Ingredients
1 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips (or Candy Melts)
1 Cup White Chocolate Chips (or Candy Melts Color Choice)
1/2 Cup White Chocolate Chips
Food Coloring

Directions

1. Pour the dark chocolate into a microwave safe bowl, and microwave on high at 30 second increments until the chocolate is melted, smooth, and creamy.

2. Dip one pretzel at a time into the melted chocolate, and remove from the bowl with a fork to get as much as the excess chocolate off of the pretzels as possible before placing them to set on a parchment lined baking sheet.

3. Repeat this step with 1 Cup of the white chocolate - in my case I used orange candy melts.

4. If you have extra chocolate - KEEP DIPPING THOSE PRETZELS!

5. Place the pretzels in the refrigerator to set.

6. Meanwhile pour the remaining 1/2 cup of white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and melt on high at 30 second increments until the chocolate is smooth and creamy.

7. Seperate the melted chocolate evenly into two small bowls and use 2 different food colorings of your choice to color the chocolate.

8. Pour the 2 colors into 2 ziplock bags, and cut a small hole at the bottom left corner of the bag.

9. Take the set pretzels out of the refrigerator, pipe the eye colors in the top two holes of the pretzel and top with a candy eyeball. Continue until all of the pretzels are complete.

10. Place the pretzels back in the refrigerator to set for approximately 5-10 minutes and serve!
