It takes less that 30 minutes to make and will certainly spice up your romantic evening.

Active Time: 20 min

Servings: 6

Molten Chocolate Cake
10 oz. Dark Chocolate
4 Tbsp Butter (plus more for the pan)
1/3 Cup Flour
1/3 Cup + 2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
3 Large Eggs
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Cayenne
1/8 tsp Chili
Confectioner's Sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325.  With softened butter, grease a 6 cup cupcake tin and line with granulated sugar. Place the chocolate and butter in a microwave safe bowl and melt for up to a minute in the microwave - in 30 second increments.  In a separate bowl, mix together flour, sugar, salt, cayenne, and chili.  Pour in chocolate and butter mixture and slowly add eggs and mix until entirely incorporated.  Pour batter into cupcake tin (fill a little more than 3/4 full).  Bake for 7 minutes or until the top is set.  Take the cakes out of the oven and let it sit for 7 minutes.  Serve warm.  Dust powdered sugar over the cakes and serve with ice cream or with homemade cinnamon whipped cream (recipe below).

Cinnamon Whipped Cream
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 tsp Cinnamon
3 Tbsp Confectioner's Sugar

Directions:
In the cold bowl of a mixer, pour in heavy cream and whip until there is a a bit of froth.  Add the cinnamon and confectioner's sugar.  Whip until stiff peaks form.  Do not over mix or it will turn into butter!   Serve cold.
