I Scream, You Scream (Vegan Banana "Ice Cream")

I Scream, You Scream 
(For Bananas?) 

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love an ice cream treat, but there are only so many pints of Ben & Jerry’s a girl can eat before she has to just say no. This recipe allows you the satisfaction of an ice cream treat without any of the guilt. 

* Note: I always have a stash of frozen bananas in my freezer for this very occasion. After making this recipe you may too!

Prep Time: 5 Minutes 
Cook Time: 0 Minutes 
Servings: 2 

Ingredients:
4 Bananas peeled, quartered and frozen 
Tbsp Nut Butter of your choice 

Directions: 

Make Ahead: Peel and quarter 4 bananas and place in a sealed container and put them in the freezer. If making that day wait about 60 minutes before making recipe.  

Take the bananas out of the freezer and let them thaw for about five minutes. Meanwhile, place your nut butter in a heat-safe bowl and heat in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds. Just so it gets warm and starts to melt. Pour banana pieces into the bowl of your food processor or blender and mix until totally smooth and the bananas have a soft serve consistency. Scoop into two bowls and drizzle with the melted nut butter and enjoy!
