Ham, Brie & Apple Pop Tart

Time: 30 Minutes
Inactive Time: 1 Hour
Servings:  8-10 Pop Tarts

Ingredients
2 Sheets of  Frozen Puff Pastry (thawed)
5 oz Double Cream Brie
1/2 lb of Thinly Sliced Deli Ham
1 Green Apple Peeled, Cored & Sliced 1/4" Thick
Chives finely chopped
Salt and Pepper to Taste
1 Egg
1 tsp Water

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. On a clean, lightly floured surface carefully roll out the puff pastry. Cut 3x5 rectangles (use a ruler) and place them on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Cut 3, 1/4 inch slices of brie. Roll the brie and an apple slice in ham and place three ham rolls in one tart. Sprinkle some finely chopped chives and some salt and pepper to taste. Create and egg wash with the egg and water. Brush the outside edges and cover with another 3x5 rectangle. Press down the edges with a fork and poke three small holes in the center. Egg wash the top and repeat until you have at least 8 pop tarts. Bake for 15 minutes then rotate the pan for another 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Place on a cooling rack and let them cool. Serve warm or at room temp.
